KazNU scientists will be talking about possibilities of a Renewable Energy

International Relations Department of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Michigan State University (MI, USA), and the Institute for Global Engagement (VA, USA) will conduct an international conference on “Renewable Energy Technology Transfer and Sustainable Development in Central Asia.”

This international event will focus on research breakthroughs in the use of small-scale renewable energy as an alternative means of addressing challenges of energy and food security in the region. The conference will also aim to advance the exchange of experts’ ideas on how technology transfer in the area of renewable energy could strengthen food security, promote cooperation and facilitate general security in the countries of the region. We are attaching a draft agenda for your review. The conference will bring together experts from academic and research institutions of all five Central Asian states, as well as Afghanistan, Pakistan, and the United States of America, representatives of international organizations, including the Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Research and Development, World Bank and UNDP, as well as representatives of small and medium enterprise in the renewable energy industry.
