Seminar titled: “Research collaboration with the UK: how to find a UK partner” will take place at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on 15 April 2015 at 10.00.
The Professional Development and Engagement strand of the Newton – Al-Farabi Partnership Programme aims to support the development of the research environment in Kazakhstan and enable optimal impact from research.
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is one of the 8 centers in the country that hosts the Professional Development Center. The center acts as a regional hub, offering access to researchers from all institutions in the region they serve. The activities will focus on skills training for researchers, technicians and research administrators and on engaging researchers with end users.
Seminar titled “Research collaboration with the UK: how to find a UK partner” will be hold in English and Russian languages. The main presentation will be in English. Pre-registration is required.
Representatives of HEIs and Research Institutes in Almaty and Almaty region are invited to take part in the seminar.
