On May 11-13, 2018, will be held a media caravan "Taraz on the Great Silk Road".

Organizers:

United Nations Information Office;

Faculty of Journalism of the Kazakh National University named Al-Farabi, Scientific Center for Humanitarian Studies "Mediasphere".

Partners:

Akimat of Taraz;

 "Public agreement" of the Akimat of Zhambyl region;

Taraz State University named after M.Kh. Dulati.

 In the media caravan trajectory is Almaty - Aisha Bibi - complex of Akyrtas palace - Karakhan complex - Kerey-Zhanibek - Tekturmas-Akyrtas - Almaty complex.

In the days of the Media caravan will be held the 7th International mobile media school "Taraz - on the road to sustainable development".

Modules:

1. Module: Sustainable Urban Development and Social Networks;

2. Module: Development of human settlements and information literacy.

One of the tasks listed in Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev's article "Orienting the Future: Spiritual Revival" contributes to the implementation of the "Land of Birth - Country" program.

For the first time Mediakaravan began its work in 2016 with the support of the UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty in the South Kazakhstan region and continued its work in the Pavlodar and East Kazakhstan regions.

The three-day event will be held in Taraz in memory of the founder of the public organization "Zhandanu" Sergei Ivanovich Chuikov and information events will be held with the participation of well-known journalists, bloggers and representatives of the press. Master classes and seminars will be organized within the framework of the Mediakaran.
