International Scientific and Methodical Conference "X Orazbaev Readings"

11-12 May 2018 Central State Museum of Kazakhstan jointly with the Department of History, Archeology and Ethnology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as the State Historical and Cultural and Natural Reserve Museum "Tanbaly" invites you to take part in the traditional international scientific methodical conference "X Orazbaev reading" on the theme: "Historical and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan: problems of the study, interpretation and preservation."

The conference will discuss problems in the following areas:

• modern methods and approaches in archeology and ethnology;

• New approaches and innovative methods in the teaching of archeology, ethnology and museum affairs in higher education institutions;

• interdisciplinary methods in historical science;

• methods of studying, preserving and museuming historical and cultural heritage;

• memories and reflections on outstanding Kazakhstani archaeologists and ethnologists;

• field materials of archaeological and ethnological expeditions.

The working languages ​​of the conference are Kazakh, Russian and English.

Expenses of participants are financed from the arriving party.
