The International Scientific and Practical Conference “Qazaqstan” of the Kazakh people’s teleepopee: the model of the national channel development”, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Qazaqstan TV channel, will start its work on February 15, 2018 at 11.00 in the Assembly Hall # 416 of the Scientific Library of al-Farabi KazNU.

Within the framework of the scientific event at the Faculty of Journalism, the opening ceremony of the educational and creative laboratory “Qazaqstan” №208, equipped with modern technology, will take place. For the first time in the laboratory journalists, producers and reporters of the “Qazaqstan” channel will conduct master classes of the workshop “Basics of TV Journalism”.

The work of the scientific council will be attended by representatives of mass media, international unions, journalists and channel veterans, who worked at different times on the TV channel “Qazaqstan”; such as Sultan Orazalin, Lasker Seitov, Kusman Igisinov. For guests and participants of the conference a photo and book exhibition, devoted to the history of TRC “Kazakhstan” will be organized.

Students - participants of the contest, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the TV channel “Qazaqstan”, who prepared their TV projects, will receive scholarships.

Information: National TV channel “Qazaqstan” is a part of RTRC “Kazakhstan”. The channel, created in 1958, is the largest media holding in the country. Currently, the JSC includes 3 republican television channels, 14 regional channels, 4 radio and 36 Internet sites.

The technical equipment of the channel allows 100% broadcasting in the republic and in neighboring countries: the Russian Federation, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia and the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Since October 2015, the website kaznews.kaztrk.kz, specially created on the basis of the portal kaztrk.kz, has started broadcasting in the high-speed mode.

Close cooperation between RTRK Kazakhstan JSC and our university is established. In 2016, the university celebrated the 95th anniversary of Kazakh radio and the 50th anniversary of Shalkar radio.
