On October 13, 2017 on the basis of the department of meteorology and hydrology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Opening of the center of the system of distance learning (SDL) for national hydrometeorological services of Central Asia (NGMS TsA), will take place (grant of the World Bank).

Main objective is tutoring of experts of meteorologists and hydrologists of NGMS, teachers of HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS of the republic and other interested experts and the organizations of a hydrometeorological profile.
