INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC-METHODOLOGICAL CONFERENCES "THEORETICAL AND APPLIED PROBLEMS OF PSYCHOLOGY: FROM BEGINNINGS TO THE PRESENT" DEVOTED TO MEMORY OF PROFESSOR S.M. DZHAKUPOV

The conference will be held on April 27, 2017 by the Faculty of Philosophy and Political Science of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The following topics will be addressed during the conference: current issues of general, social and ethnic psychology; psychology of teaching and education; theoretical and applied research in clinical psychology, counseling, and occupational psychology. More than 80 scientists and practitioners from Kazakhstan and overseas will take part in the conference.

Satybaldy Mukataevich Dzhakupov graduated from the Faculty of the Psychology of Lomonosov Moscow State University. He defended his Ph.D. and doctoral dissertations on Psychology in Moscow. He was the head of the Department of Ethnic and Educational Psychology of Al-Farabi KazNU for more than 10 years. He supervised a large number of Kazakhstani psychologists: 9 Doctors of Science, 50 Candidates of Science, 5 PhD graduates, 51 MSc Psychology graduates.

The winners of the 1st Dzhakupov Republican competition of research papers of undergraduates and postgraduates in the field of Psychology will be announced during the plenary session. Winners will be awarded cash prizes and diplomas.
