Society "Business Communication"


The student's society "Business Communication" of the Cchair of Foreign Philology and General Linguistics – one of the forms of educational activity of students of al-Farabi KazNU, which is directed on formation and skill developments communication business in English in free their time or specially provided time.


Leaders of the society - teachers of the Chair of Foreign Philology and General Linguistics are engaged in the organization of activity of this circle. Ospankulova Sh. and Kenzhekanova K.

The aim and objectives of the society


The main aim of activity of the students' society is improvement early the acquired basic knowledge on language and language culture, immersion on language environment and more profound mastering by a foreign language for its use in communication at the decision not only production, but also sociocultural tasks; to teach students to exchange freely the thoughts and to express opinion in a dialogical and monological form in stylistically neutral sphere of daily communication and within cross-cultural communication in the business and tourism sphere; to activate foreign-language written communication in the specialty.

The main objectives of the student's society activity are:

- to define students who are interested in given direction, and further work with them;

- to deepen skills of practical possession of business language;

- to improve and increase the received skills in all types of speech activity;

- to increase vocabulary, lexical cliche and grammatical units on communication business;

- to improve skills, to work independently over language and to put them into practice in cross-cultural competence of spheres of the professional activity of the future (transfers, messages reports, etc.);

- formation of an official style of informal conversation.
