University of Shanghay Cooperation Organization (USCO)

University of SCO is an innovative form of integration in the field of education, science, technology and culture between the countries - SCO partners.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was the first among universities of Kazakhstan which signed a Memorandum on Cooperation of higher educational institutions of the SCO countries and the Charter of University of SCO.

The purpose of participation of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in the activity of University of SCO is due to the need to implement the strategic tasks before Kazakhstani universities on the entering into a single global educational environment and enhancing the competitiveness of Kazakhstani higher education on an international standard.
