Department of publishing, editing and design art

The Department has been founded in 1976. Initially it was titled the Department of Journalism tradecraft and editing. The Kazakh State University was the first in the USSR which launched this kind of department and this facilitated the training of future specialists. Professor Tauman Amandosov, the talented researcher of the theory of Kazakh political journalism was the first head of the department. He was the outstanding professor and founder of the entire school.
