Attending the Roundtable were domestic scientists Orientalists, historians, philologists, philosophers, foreign scientists Orientalists and young scientists, students, undergraduates, doctoral students of faculty.
Moderator ofthis roundtablewas aRussian scholar, orientalist, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Director of Center forEconomic and Social Researchof ChinaAcademy of SciencesFar Eastern Studies, Professor AndreyOstrovsky.
The roundtable participantsdiscussed the problems of KazakhOriental Studies,offered suggestionsto improve thequalityof education inthe field ofOriental Studiesand exchanged views.
