Al-Farabi The purpose of NLIPThe main goal of nanotechnology laboratories of engineering profile is the creation of science and technology, research and education infrastructure for the development of nanotechnology and nanoengineering in the Treasury of Al-Farabi.
Tasks NLIP

Conducting research on the creation and study of new nanomaterials;
The organization of the educational process of continuous multi-level training of generalists in the field of nanoengineering (nanomaterials and nanotechnology).

Creation of metal nanoclusters in a structurally disordered semiconductor and dielectric media based on the ion-plasma technologies;
Creation of structures based on nanocrystalline silicon and gallium arsenide;
Creating nanoscale structures based on epitaxial techniques;
Creation of nano-structured composite materials based on carbon;
Development of the technology of plasma-dust synthesis of nanomaterials;
Creation of nanoscale catalysts;
The synthesis of fullerenes and nanotubes in the flames of hydrocarbon fuels;
Synthesis of nano-carbon sorbents multi-purpose;
Synthesis of nanostructured anode and cathode materials;
Synthesis of nanomaterials with fullerene ion beams;
Development of technology for electrolytic nanocomposite coatings;
The development of theory and computer simulation of processes in nanoscale environments.
