The Turksoy department establishes study-methodical plan of department every study year. On the basis of this plan professor staff develops study-methodical complexes and syllabuses of approved subjects. Department develops methodical researches, lectures, seminars and individual student’s works to increase the quality of knowledge. There are catalogues and libraries which are developed especially for students of all specialties of bachelor’s and master’s degrees.

 4 th year grade`s students of Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Turkic Studies, majoring the 050214-Foreign philology: the Turkish language were teaching practice in the Kazakh-Turkish Lyceum for girls in Almaty, the Kazakh-Turkish junior high school in Almaty. All graduates of the department held practical training at the International Public Foundation (KATEV), the cultural foundation of the Turkish people of Almaty, «KAZENKO» (Atyrau), LLP Idil-Aksu Story ", just above the practice will continue based on contract. During pedagogical practice students in the department were directly related to the educational work, when both during production practices were engaged in work relating to translation of affairs. 5-3 day training practice in conducting the undergraduate and continuing practice conducted during lessons with the older courses are held at the department under the leadership of teacher- professors Department of Turksoy.
