The traditional student’s climbing of the Department of Recreation Geography and Tourism devoted to 20-th anniversary of Kazakhstan Independence will be on September 25, 2011 Gathering at 7:30 at the bus stop number 6, 204 (Dostyk Av., Abaya Av., opposite the hotel "Kazakhstan").

Dress code - casual, shoes - for corrugated base, to have: sunglasses, hat, sport coat, raincoat (in case of rain). Food&beverage for the day. Money to travel (to "Medeo" and back - 120-150 tenge).

The traditional tourist’s meeting "Golden Autumn" in the Malaya Almatinka Valley devoted to 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and organized by the Federation of Sport Tourism and Tourism-Round and the Office of Tourism, Physical Culture and Sports in Almaty City, will be taken on 01-02d of October, 2011.  

The meeting devoted to World Tourism Day and 20th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  

Gathering of participants in Lesnichestvo, Malaya Almatinka Valley on Saturday, October 01, 2011 after lessons at the university.

Dress code - casual, you must have warm clothes to sleep in the field. Centralized food - 600 tenge per person. Bivouac equipment will be issued by the Department on October 29-30, 2011

Leadership Lecture of the Director of Kazakhstan Tourist Association (KTA) and President of Kazakhstan Association of Hotels and Restaurants (KAGIR)

The Leadership Lecture of the Director of the Kazakhstan Tourist Association (KTA) and President of Kazakhstan Association of Hotels and Restaurants (KAGIR) Rashida Shaikenova was held at the Faculty of Geography and Nature Management. This is the first of a series of meetings with the specialists of tourism, initiated by the Student’ Club and Sports Tourism, "Zhas-Tour" under the supervision of the Department of Recreational Geography and Tourism. R. Shaikenova told about the problems and prospects of the formation of the tourist market in Kazakhstan. She shared the secrets of successful tourist activities and invited to participate in volunteer projects with the possibility of KTA professional training and employment of students who showed themselves. Similar meetings are planned to be monthly; they will help the future image of tourism specialists according to the current requirements of employers for graduates of specialty "Tourism".
