The main goal of the Department of Information Technologies is the provision of an effective informational and technical support of the study process of the university, functioning of the complex of technical facilities with the use of new modern information technologies in order to increase the quality of provided by the university educational service.
Activities of the Department of Information Technologies is addressed to the realization of the strategy of research university development, which includes the evolution of a joint network infrastructure, implementation of new informational technologies in the study process, automation of financial-economic activities, documentation management and paper flow of the university. One of the main directions of the department is the formation of modern integrated information system of the university, organization of representation of the university in Internet space, provision of modern electronic service for faculty members and students, creation of proper informational-educative corporate university portal. The department conducts a goal-oriented work on improvement of university informational support, technical equipment of all structural branches of the university, increase of the quality of treatment of users and the level of provided electronic service, use of modern informational technologies in realization of strategic objectives of the department.
